RealMe is the king of budget smartphones in 2018. RealMe is just four months old company and it has created a place in Indian smartphone users heart. By providing good smartphones at an affordable price. The first smartphone from the company was RealMe 1 with 18:9 display 3 GB/4 GB/6 GB RAM and MediaTek Helio P60 for 9000 INR.
Here we are going to review Oppo RealMe 2 and we are also going to discuss does it worth buying at 8990 for the base variant.
Oppo RealMe 2 Review
Many of you are thinking that Realme 2 is the successor of RealMe 1, let me first clarify that. RealMe is 2 not a successor of RealMe 1 the main successor of RealMe is going to be RealMe 2 Pro. This is a different phone, this phone is for those who want a big notch display screen, dual camera and a fingerprint sensor at an affordable price.
The first generation of RealMe i.e the RealMe 1 does not has a big notch display screen, dual camera and fingerprint sensor. Beside this Realme 1 has a beautiful 1080 pixels by 2160 pixels screen at a PPI of 402 pixels per inch and a powerful 12 nm processor MediaTek P60.
In RealMe 2 we see a downgrade in these departments. The phone comes with a 6.2-inch HD+ screen (720 x 1520 pixels resolution) and Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 with Andro 506 GPU. Dual Cameras (13 MP and 2 MP) and 8 MP selfie camera at the very affordable price. 3 GB/32 GB variant at 8,990 and 4 GB/64 GB variant at 10,990. On the phone, you can use two 4G sim which is good and the phone is powered by 4230 mAh battery. If we talk about the protection then the phone is protected with corning gorilla glass 3.
What’s Inside the box
In the box, you get the following things:
- RealMe 2 itself
- User manual
- SIM ejector Tool
- Soft TPU case
- Charging adopter (Out 5V, 2A) not a fast change and,
- Micro USB cable
Does it worth Buying
If you are looking for a good looking and premium design phone then definitely worth buying. It has a beautiful 6.2-inch screen and a notch is a cherry on top of the cake. And it has a best front camera for selfie lover. Now if you want to buy this for high-end games then I’ll say no. I’m not saying that this phone can’t handle high-end gaming. Yes, it can play Asphalt 9 and PUBG Moblie at low graphics settings but you may see some frame drop. You will not get a smooth gaming experience. Because the phone is powered by Snapdragon 450 with Andro 506 GPU, which is a decent SoC.
To sum up here is the review.
