How to Import Google Contacts to iPhone

For that, you have to add your Google account to your iPhone. Adding your Google account allows you to sync your email, contacts, notes, and calendar to your iPhone.

How to Import Google Contacts to iPhone

When you add a Google account on your iPhone, you can use Google services like Gmail, YouTube, Photos and more. Also, you can use your Gmail email address to create an Apple ID.

Now to Import Google Contacts to the iPhone, follow the following steps mentioned below:

Step 1: Open the “Settings” app and tap on the “Contacts” option.

Step 2: Now you have to add Google accounts to your iPhone. For that, tap the “Accounts” option. Then, tap “Add Account.”

Step 3: Here, you will find a list of services you can add to your iPhone. For Google Contacts, tap on “Google.”

Step 4: Enter your Google Account email. Then, tap “Next.” After that, enter your password and then tap “Next” to continue.

Step 5: Now, sync Google Contacts to your iPhone. For that, turn on the toggle next to the Contacts option. All the Google data you have synced will save on your iCloud account.

Note:- If you want, you can also sync – Mail, Calendars, and Notes apps. 

This will import all your Google Contacts to your iPhone. To check, open the “Phone” app on your iPhone.

How to Choose a Default Account to Add New Contacts

We have set up multiple accounts in the Contacts app – iCloud and Google Account. You can choose a default account to add new contacts to your iPhone.

Here is how you can choose the default account to save the contacts:

Step 1: Open the “Settings” and tap on the “Contacts” settings option.

Step 2: Here, you will get the contact-related settings option. Tap on the “Default Account” option and choose the default account.

Note:- iCloud is set by default if you want to continue to save a contact on Google Contact. You can select Gmail.
