How to Enable Gesture Navigation in MIUI 11

Here are the steps you have to follow to enable gestures navigation in your Xiaomi devices that are running on MIUI 11.

Note:- If you are using the older version of MIUI 11, then make sure that your Xiaomi Device is updated to the latest MIUI 11. If your device is not updated, then first updates your device to MIUI 11.

Always make sure that you are running the latest updates on your smartphone. Because when you update your phone you can get new features and monthly security patches to keep your phone safe and running.

To update your phone Go to > Settings > About Phone > System Update > Check for Update

Here are the steps to enable gesture Navigation in MIUI11:

Step 1: Open Settings app and click on “Additional Settings“.

Step 2: Look for a setting option called “Full-screen display“. Just select the Full-Screen Gestures option.

Step 3: Now, you will find the “Full-Screen Display” under System Navigation settings.

Swiping up from the bottom takes you to the home screen, while swiping up and holding the screen will open recent apps.

To switch between apps, swipe left or right from the full-screen indicator or bottom of the screen.

And to go back a page, swipe to the center from the left or right side of the screen. Since these gestures are a shift from typical MIUI navigation, it might take some time to get used to it.
