How to Disable Google Web & App Activity on Android

If you have an Android device, then all of Google’s app tracks Web & App activity. To disable Google Web and App Activity on Android, you can follow the following steps. First of all, you need to sign in with our Google account. If you don’t have one, you can create a Google account.

Step 1: Open the “Settings” app. Now look for the “Google” option and tap on it.

Step 2: It will open the Google account settings option. Here, click on the “Manage your Google Account” option. You can also; open it through any Google app, tap on the profile icon and then the manage your Gooogle Account option.

Step 3: Now click on the “Data & Privacy” tab. Here, you will find history settings; tap the “Web & App Activity” option.

Step 4: Here, you will find an option to disable web & app activity. Just tap the “turn off” option.

Note:- Using the same method, you can also turn off Location History and YouTube History.

How to Disable Google Web & App Activity on iPhone

There is an option to add a Google account to your iPhone to use Google’s apps like Gmail and YouTube on iPhone; these apps track your Web & App Activity. You can disable it from the Safari web browser. To do so, follow the following steps:

Step 1: Open the “Safari” browser and on the web address bar, open this link:

Step 2: Sign in with your Google account to continue. Here, click on the “Web & App Activity” option.

Step 3: It will open the activity controls page. Here, tap the “Turn Off” button to disable web & app activity on iPhone.

Step 3: Now, you have to confirm whether you want to pause web & app activity on your iPhone. To confirm, tap on the “Pause” button. Then tap on “OK” to continue.
