How to Activate Incognito Mode in Google Chrome

Most browsers include an Incognito mode that allows users to surf anonymously without saving their search or browsing history locally. Google Chrome also have an incognito mode for Android and iPhone. Here, we will discuss how to activate incognito mode in Google Chrome.

Incognito mode can help keep your browsing data private by not saving your history and wiping cookies automatically. It clears your browser cache and cookies once you close the browser.

How to Activate Incognito Mode in Google Chrome

Note:- The Incognito mode only hides the activity from your device and Google account. It doesn’t hide it from Google and the Internet service provider. They can still track your activity in Incognito mode. If you want, you can delete Google Web & App Activity.

Step 1: Open the Google Chrome browser. If you are using the older version of the Google Chrome browser, update it. For new features and security updates, always keep your browser up-to-date.

Step 2: Now, tap on the three-dot icon. On Android, you will find it on the top right corner of the screen. On iPhone, you will get it in the bottom right corner.

Step 3: Here, you will find a content menu. Tap the “New Incognito Tab” option to activate incognito mode in Google Chrome.

Step 4: You will see a message that says “You’ve Gone Incognito” in the middle of the screen. Now, your browser data will not save locally on your device.
